Warehouse Lead

Our client is a well-established industrial manufacturing company looking for a dependable Warehouse Lead to join their team. Candidates must have prior experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing facility and well as have warehouse and shipping and receiving experience.

This is a hands-on position and will require you to be a part of the day-to-day warehouse team while working with equipment such as bandsaws, forklifts, and performing such duties as heat treating and light lathe work.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and move materials
• Operate bandsaw to cut materials accurately.
• Perform light lathe machining as needed
• Assist with pickups and deliveries in company vehicle when needed
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures
• Work with production and other departments as needed

Requirements

• Warehouse, shipping/receiving, and machine shop experience required
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Reliable, dependable, motivated, and willing to learn
• Able to work in a hands-on industrial environment
• Forklift and material handling equipment experience required
• Valid TX driver’s license

Compensation

$70,000 per year
