Job Description & Requirements Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 12 Pay Rate: $82.45 - $89.25 This facility is seeking Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Urgent Care for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: 3 days/week as soon as credentialed until perm is hired: 8A-8P Patients per day: patient population is birth to death and can vary from clinic to clinic, day by day Practice Setting: Outpatient Scope: Laceration Repair: Simple, intermediate, and complex suturing or stapling, Incision and drainage (I&D): including packing, Foreign Body Removal, Minor Burn Management, Skin Lesion Care, Orthopedic & Injury Stabilization, Splinting & Casting, Joint Reduction, Diagnostic & Point-of-Care Testing, X-Ray Interpretation, Electrocardiogram (EKG) State Licensure: VA License required Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days Job Benefits AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
