Job Details Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Location: Peoria, Illinois Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 26 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Time: 3P-3A Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed Charting System: EPIC Setting: Acute care Emergency Department Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or proof that the application process has been initiated At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required; 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (or TNS) Strong ability to manage high-acuity patients and interpret cardiac rhythms Experience with IV drips and titration, including vasopressors and cardiac medications, preferred Comfort working in a busy teaching hospital or acute care environment preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to older adults Care for a broad range of emergency cases, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and critical illness Monitor, titrate, and manage IV drips according to patient needs and department protocols Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, ED technicians, respiratory therapy, and the broader care team Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Interpret telemetry rhythms and act promptly on life-threatening changes Assist with trauma and critical care situations as part of a coordinated ED team Support patient flow, including lab collection, stabilization, and coordination with ancillary services Apply now to join this Travel Emergency Room RN opportunity in Peoria, Illinois, and bring your emergency nursing expertise to a high-performing healthcare team.
