Personnel Security Specialist

Job TitleLead development and implementation of personnel security policies to ensure sustained compliance and strengthen organizational effectiveness.Provide precedent-setting personnel security guidance and adopts techniques shaping long-term requirements; recommends command policies, directives, and implementation guidance.Maintain security clearance records and conducts independent reviews for all personnel with classified access.Manage and track personnel security clearance data; evaluates incoming clearances and conducts required periodic reviews.Ensure background investigations are properly initiated, scoped, assigned, reviewed, and adjudicated.Reviews and analyzes derogatory information received on personnel from various sources.
