AEP in Abilene, TX is seeking a Line Mechanic C to install, maintain, and inspect overhead and underground electrical facilities, and operate line trucks and related gear. Progression from Line Mechanic D or equivalent with increasing responsibilities is expected.
candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, plus a valid Class A CDL and at least one year of distribution power line experience or equivalent training. Overtime, on-call work, and travel may be required in this role.
