Cybersecurity Analyst (SME)

Job DescriptionECS is seeking a TS-cleared Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Huntsville, AL.Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Salary Range: $160,000 - $198,000We offer the chance to support the world’s finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support Business Owners, System Owners, ISSEs, and ISSOs and the technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats.We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide innovative solutions. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will apply cybersecurity analysis and subject-matter expertise to support system categorization, labor alignment, security-risk analysis, reporting, and improvement activities under the ISaaS program-management model. Translate technical and operational data into actionable recommendations and supports consistency across system portfolios.Responsibilities:Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues.Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing.Evaluate new and existing software products.Job RequirementsUS citizenship with active Top Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experienceDemonstrated experience with DOJ/FBI cybersecurity processes and/or Risk Management FrameworkDemonstrated knowledge of security architectureFamiliarity with NIST FIPS-199 and CNSS standardsFamiliarity with JCAM/Xacta toolsPerform data analysis and dashboardingDemonstrated SME-level problem solving skillsJob DetailsJob Type: Full-timeCategory: CybersecuritySalaried: Salaried
