Architectural Design ManagerOrganizational Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Support design leadership in maintaining best-in-class performance and advancing Companies growth and brand through integrated operations, team alignment, and proactive problem solving.Incorporate design standards for conceptual design integration and support best practices development and documentationOversee that design direction aligns with design ethosEnsuring project team adherence to design tools, processes, and standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This includes, but not limited to:Guaranteeing accuracy of collateral from Design to support the Sales & Marketing TeamsCollaboration and coordination with Visualization for Luminary homesCreation and management of Discovery assets as required by Discovery and Sales teams, including, but not limited to, presentations, lot fits, and KMZ view studies.Positively and actively collaborate with leadership and cross-departmentally with teams to ensure adherence to internal processes and quality standardsProvide insight on project and design ethos as needed by the Sales and Marketing teamsManagement of designer staff and workload distributionTraining, coaching, and mentoring of designer staffInterview and hire, mentor and train, for qualified design team rolesCreate, monitor, maintain, update, and train processes and procedures for all design related tasksEncourage routine and consistent use of design software including SketchUp, Revit and Bluebeam.Collaborate within design teams to ensure processes and procedures are implemented with project teamsProvide architectural design direction and oversight for Luminary homes'Moderator' of the BH Design Committee, actively calibrating the committee members to the priorities of the dayPerform as designer as needed or required on high profile projectsPresent SketchUp models and visualization assets to potential clients for Luminary homesRequirementsEssential Qualifications:Minimum 6+ years residential and/or hospitality architectural experience in an architecture or hands-on homebuilding/construction organization with 3+ years of architectural management experienceProfessional Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Architecture programArchitectural Registration preferred, or on track for Architectural licensureExceptional cross-functional collaborative attitude and drive to deliver effective resultsProven experience leading design efforts and adherence to design standardsThe ability to be decisive in establishing priorities and setting expectationsExperience working cross-functionally with interdisciplinary teams including Construction, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and AccountingDemonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to pivot, motivate, develop, and hold teams accountableExperience working in a high-energy and fast-paced environmentExceptional professionalism, effective communicator, and problem solverRoutine use of software including Sketchup, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite (Familiarity with Revit, Adobe Suite, Lumion, Enscape Preferred).About the companyAvance Consulting is a global leader in innovative talent solutions for diverse industries.
